Absent is a documentary produced with Inner City Youth Alive that explores the real-life impacts of chronic school absenteeism in Winnipeg. Through personal stories, community voices, and on-the-ground perspectives, the film sheds light on the challenges students, families, and educators face—and invites viewers to consider how we can support young people to stay present and connected in their education.
